Youth for Christ Lebanon wants to reach every young person in Lebanon with Jesus. They do this through discipleship programs, a youth center, and outreach, including specific outreach programs for Syrian refugees.
Our Heart Check funding will support:
The Manara Youth Center – They served 600 youth last year and aim to serve 800 this year. Many are fleeing the war along the southern border. The center provides tutoring, psychosocial support, recreational programs, discipleship, outreach programs and an Ambassadors of Peace program to bridge religious and ethnic divides.
From Lara, a 17-year-old student:
“The inner struggle remained for almost three years. Then, one day, one of the youth workers said that if we ask God to show us who He truly is, He would reveal Himself to us. I was initially afraid, but I decided to ask this one thing of God. That night, I saw Jesus in a dream. Little by little, I found my way to Christ.”
