Content Creator
SUMMARY ROLE DEFINITION
The purpose of the Content Creator will be to develop and produce a variety of multimedia content, primarily focused on graphic design, but including photo, video, audio, and written materials for Revive Wesleyan. This role plays a crucial part in extending the reach and impact of the Gospel and Revive Wesleyan’s mission, vision and values through digital and traditional channels.
Reports To: Communications Director
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Collaborate with Revive Wesleyan’s leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns the church’s mission and values.
- Create compelling multimedia content, focusing on design, graphics, videos, photos and other materials as needed.
- Work with relevant teams to ensure the content reflects Revive Wesleyan’s mission, vision and values.
- Plan and execute multimedia content production, including graphics, visual content, shooting and editing videos, and written support.
- Maintain a consistent and appealing visual and photo style across all content.
- Collaborate with the Social & Digital Media Coordinator to ensure seamless integration of content across various platforms.
- Optimize content for each specific channel, considering best practices and audience preferences.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with Revive Wesleyan’s mission.
- Collaboratively provide updates to the Revive Wesleyan website, including, but not limited to, creating pages, uploading images, and updating content.
- Seek out and foster working relationships with ministry leaders to bring projects to life.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to being part of the Revive Wesleyan family.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- An understanding of design principles, specifically with typography and composition.
- In Depth in video editing software is a plus.
- High attention to detail, organized and internally motivated to work with excellence while flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Able to graciously receive and apply feedback within a collaborative team environment in the pursuit of excellence.
- Exceptional Communication skills and ability to execute with precision.
- Great time management skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Design portfolio.
